Awhile back we talked about the upcoming Kathleen Hanna documentary The Punk Singer and the influence Hanna and her contemporaries have had a a great number of people through her career.
Now the trailer for the film has made its way online and can be seen above. The film, by indie filmmaker Sini Anderson, is "a rock documentary about Kathleen Hanna, her influence over the riot grrrl movement of the 1990’s and- on a more scholarly approach- her contribution to third wave feminism". Featured in the film are interviews with noted icon Joan Jett, Kim Gordon, Carrie Brownstein and Hanna's husband Adam Horovitz (known to some as the Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock).
The Punk Singer premiered at this year's SXSW Festival and will hit theatres November 29th.
