Trailer watch: Long Shot
Seth Rogen. A man perpetually punching above his weight. It's a statement especially true in the trailer for the comedy Long Shot, which has just debuted its trailer.

Long Shot is about a journalist (Rogen) who entangles himself with a childhood crush (played by Charlize Theron). The crush just happens to be the Secretary of State of the United States however and as expected, shenanigans happen. The line from the trailer aptly describes the situation; "It's Pretty Woman, except she's Richard Gere and you're Julia Roberts". Except he's not even Julia Roberts.
The film was directed by Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies) off a screenplay by Golden Globe nominated screenwriters Liz Hannah and Dan Sterling.
Long Shot also stars O'Shea Jackson Jr, Andy Serkis, and June Diane Raphael and premiered at this year's SXSW Festival. The film is scheduled to open in US cinemas May 3rd.
Check out the trailer below. Looks OK. We'd probably go watch it.
