The new trailer for the upcoming reboot of Hellboy has hit the web, and it's the red band version too.
I was skeptical, very, about this reboot. Seemingly unnecessary, the first trailer made it look quite cheap compared to the original Guillermo Del Toro versions. But the new trailer paints a more convincing picture. A little bit of blood, a little bit of violence, a little bit of snark and apocalypse. I'm all in now.
Hellboy is the reboot to Del Toro's two Hellboy films (2004's Hellboy and 2008's The Golden Army), and stars David Harbour (Stranger Things) as the titular character. Harbour replaces actor Ron Perlman from the original films.
The film also stars Milla Jovovich (as the big bad), Ian McShane, Daniel Dae Kim and Thomas Haden Church. Hellboy is directed by Neil Marshall (Westworld, Game of Thrones, Dog Soldiers) based off a screenplay by Andrew Cosby.
Hellboy is due in cinemas April 12th in the United States.
