With a debut EP on the horizon, pop punk band Nude Shoes have released the song "Couple's Jenga" as a teaser.

Nude Shoes is the musical project of Andy Katz (formerly of the band Weird and Wonderful Words) and is the creative result of Katz time dealing with a life-changing year. In 2017, Katz ended Weird and Wonderful Words while taking personal time to refocus his energy away from music. The result is Nude Shoes and the upcoming debut EP Suburban Ceremonies.

On the song "Couple's Jenga", Katz has said the song is about;

"a couple’s relationship essentially falling apart like a game of Jenga, one piece at a time. They both are actively taking apart the pieces one by one until it falls apart. The verses are someone realizing its over and they are in denial about it, and the chorus is the other person telling saying that they’re moving on."

Along with "Couple's Jenga", Nude Shows has released the music video for the song "Headache for a Decade", a song about Katz' battle with ulcerative colitis.

Suburban Ceremonies is due for release March 1st via Know Hope Records.
